Ryan Kepler, based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, creates works that emphasize the natural, intuitive qualities of glass. His journey with glass began in 2011 at Palomar College in San Diego, CA. Over the following years, he refined his skill and technique through studies and teaching assistant roles at Pilchuck Glass School and Penland School of Craft. Currently, Kepler serves as the Director of Promotions and Sales at Tulsa Glassblowing School, where he continues to develop his highly technical works in glass. Influenced by early experiences in his grandfather’s foundry, Kepler brings a deep-rooted connection to materials and fine craftsmanship to his practice.
